Jen Springer joined the Office of General Counsel in January 2025.
Jen’s practice concerns all aspects of Northeastern’s Labor Operations, including union matters, collective bargaining, contract administration and labor litigation, as well as employment counseling, dispute resolution, and employee relations.
Prior to joining Northeastern, Jen worked in Human Resources at MIT, Lincoln Laboratory as the Manager of Labor and Employee Relations. Prior to that, Jen worked at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, handling all aspects of labor and employee relations. Jen began her career as a union attorney and represented unions across Massachusetts and New England for over 20 years. She was awarded the prestigious Cushing-Gavin Award for outstanding Labor-Management Relations in 2011.
Jen is a graduate of University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and Suffolk University Law School.
