Evan C. Ouellette joined the Office of General Counsel in 2022. Evan’s practice is focused on litigation, employment and labor matters.
Prior to joining Northeastern, Evan was a partner at Brody, Hardoon, Perkins & Kesten LLP in Boston, specializing in complex employment and civil rights litigation. Evan has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts and has successfully argued appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the First and Second Circuits and the Massachusetts Appeals Court. He also practiced regularly before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and Massachusetts Civil Service Commission.
Previously, Evan served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel within the Litigation Division of the City of Boston Law Department, where he represented the City in all areas of municipal litigation. Evan also served as a Supervising Assistant District Attorney within the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted violent crimes and drug-related offenses. He began his legal career as a law clerk to the justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
Evan is a magna cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School and earned his B.A. from Connecticut College.
