Ellen Rubin

Ellen Rubin joined the Office of the General Counsel in May 2017 and focuses primarily on contracts and transactions.

Prior to joining Northeastern, Ellen served for over 13 years as General Counsel of Greater Media, Inc., a company that owned and operated radio stations in Boston and other major markets. Before that, Ellen was an associate in the corporate department of Hill & Barlow, P.C., where her clients included financial services firms, a variety of start-ups, and a local performing arts center.

Ellen received her A.B. in anthropology from Harvard College and her J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. Between college and law school, Ellen worked for a small immigration law firm in San Francisco.

She currently volunteers in the cat rooms at the Medfield Animal Shelter.
