Laura Nagavelli joined the Office of the General Counsel as Assistant General Counsel in 2020 and focuses on US-based employment immigration and global support for NU’s expanding network.
Previously, Laura was an Associate Attorney for 3 years at the Boston office of the immigration law firm Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy. There, she managed a wide caseload of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and helped clients through the permanent labor certification (PERM) process.
Laura received a B.S. in International Business from the University of Vermont and earned her J.D. in International Law at Suffolk University Law School, where she was the Notes Editor for the Transnational Law Review.
